To provide its services, the Extension processes certain data. This processing is done locally on your computer or through a secure, anonymous API call. We categorize this data as follows:

2.1. Page Content Analysis (Free Features)

For the core analysis features (SEO and GEO checks), the Extension reads the content of the webpage you are currently viewing. This includes:

• HTML tags (e.g., <title>, <meta>, <h1>, <img>)
• Text content of the page
• URL structure and links

All of this analysis happens locally in your browser. The content of the webpage you are analyzing is NOT sent to our servers or any third-party service for the free features.

2.2. AI-Powered Features (Premium)

The premium features, such as the "AI Writer" and "Fix with AI" functionalities, require the use of an external AI service (OpenAI's API) to generate content.

• When you use a premium AI feature, relevant context from the current page (such as the page title, headings, or selected text) is sent to the OpenAI API.
• This data is sent securely and anonymously. We do not include any personal information, account details, or IP addresses in the API request.
• OpenAI's use of this data is governed by their API data usage policies. We do not store or log any of the data sent to OpenAI or the responses received.

2.3. Extension Settings

The Extension may store your preferences and settings, such as your premium status or user interface choices. This information is stored locally on your computer using the standard chrome.storage.local API provided by the browser. This data is not accessible to us and never leaves your machine.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

We want to be explicitly clear about the information we do not collect:

• No Personal Information: We do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, physical address, or phone number.
• No Browsing History: The Extension only activates when you click its icon. It does not track your browsing history or collect data in the background.
• No Usage Analytics: We do not use any tracking or analytics services (like Google Analytics) within the Extension. We do not know how often you use the Extension or which features you use.
• No Server-Side Logging: We do not maintain servers that log your activity or IP address.

4. Data Storage and Security

As outlined above, the only data stored is your local settings, which are managed by your Chrome browser's secure storage. We rely on the security measures provided by Google Chrome to protect this local data.

5. Third-Party Services

• Gumroad: Premium subscriptions are managed through Gumroad. When you choose to upgrade, you will be directed to Gumroad's website. Your payment information is handled directly by Gumroad and is subject to their privacy policy. We do not receive or store your payment details.
• OpenAI: Premium AI features are powered by OpenAI. Data sent to their API is processed according to their privacy and data usage policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify users through the Extension's interface or its Chrome Web Store listing. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
